CD GANGING UP ON THE SUN YA SALIÓ A LA VENTA Y TRAE DOCE BUENAS ROLAS.

Les tomó poco menos de una década a los de Guster, liderados por el “front-man” y vocalista Ryan Millar y el guitarrista Adam Gardner, colocarse en un cómodo lugar dentro de la amplia variedad del pop-rock americano.

Con el tema “Keep it together” lograron alcanzar el top 50 de la revista Billboard, y sencillos como “Ámsterdam” y “Careful” hicieron levantar las orejas de muchos amatnes del rock adulto.

El sonido de Guster resulta tan amigable y ameno como la actitud que la banda despliega en sus shows y en las letras de sus canciones, se les suele comparar con los Flaming Lips por su perfil relativamente bajo dentro del ambiente.

Con “Ganging Up The Sun”, el grupo demuestra que tiene muy claro adónde quiere llegar. El arranque de “Lightning rod” y “Satellite”, obligan a escuchar el resto para saber si tendrá la misma solidez.

Guster construye uno de los mejores discos de rock adulto que han visto la luz durante 2006. “Manifest destiny” y “New underground” destacan entre las doce creaciones, pero también podrían elegirse “Hang on” o “Empire state”.

EL GUITARRISTA LO DEFINE ASÍ

“El álbum contiene nuestro tema más sonado, “The Beginning of the end”; nuestro tema más tranquilo, “Empire state”, y el más largo, “Ruby falls”. Es un trabajo sincero, cínico y con el que nos hemos sentido más seguros”.
