Alicia Moore, alias Pink, enero del 2002 fue un mes muy
importante. Nominada al Grammy por mejor colaboración
vocal pop, por el tema “Lady Marmalade”, del film
“Moulin Rouge”, lanza “Missundaztood”,
el segundo disco en sus 22 años.
Este llega luego del doble platino de “Can’t take
me home”.
Sin cabello rubio, tonadas pop, ni mirada de modelo sensual,
el producto Pink vende autenticidad, sinceridad y la fuerza
del rock, el rap y el hip hop.
El malentendido
“Get the party started” fue el elegido para el
videoclip que la muestra tatuada, punk, ya no tan rosa y
con gorrito hip-hopero. Se huele las axilas y se divierte.
“Si no fuera por la música estaría en
problemas todo el tiempo”, afirma Pink.
El talento de la cantante dista mucho de la muñeca
alocada que aparenta ser.
Aquellos que sólo han escuchado “Get the party
started”, tampoco van a percibir sonido rosa alguno.
Linda Perry de 4 Non Blondes, en realidad ha sido el motor
principal del álbum. Perry, junto a Steve Tyler,
líder de Aerosmith, Richie Sambora, guitarrista de
Bon Jovi, Dallas Austin, uno de los mejores productores
del momento, y DJ Scratch, han alumbrado el pop más
rico y completo de este curso.
Pero Alicia Moore, de profesión Pink, prescindiendo
de etiquetas, sólo se puede clasificar dentro de
las artistas que, como Madonna, verán en los próximos
años su nombre escrito con luces de neón...

Los temas nuevos
las rolas de este disco son variadísimas.
Lo versátil del tono rosa se expresa en cada
una de ellas.
“18 Wheeler”, “Dear Diary”, “eventually”,
“numb”, “just like a pill”, “family
affair” y “respect”.
estos son los temas. En uno de ellos aparece la inconfundible
voz de tyler y la guitarra de sambora.
“missundaztood” es uno de los discos más
vendidos en lo que va del 2002.
